What's it all about?

So my mother, at 56, has bought a VW T31 Campervan and next week we are embarking on our first trip in it. At the moment the plan is to go to the Mull of Kintyre and tour around there for 5 nights staying at different sites. 1st draft itinerary is:

Mon night - Killberry
Tues night - Islay
Wed night - Musadale
Thurs night - Machrihanish
Fri night - Arran 
Sat - drive home!

We've just got the van sorted out the way we want it and got various things fixed and mended and it looks like it's all working fine. The van is about 20 years old but only has 35,000 miles on the clock, I know the one thing I'm going to struggle with is the lack of power steering! 

So yes, plans are progressing and we'll keep you updated as we travel through Kintyre!

    Looking Good on the Ferry, Hope all goes to plan. Our Gordon is playing a county golf tournament at Machrihanish at the weekend so you,ll just miss him. Ian and Marlyn.

    Paul is going to be totally green going on purple with envy when I show him the blog. His big dream is to own a campervan..you guys are sooo brave!

    Oh! You've got a campervan! My dream holiday would be touring the west coast of Ireland in a campervan, just stopping where I wanted to for the night. Susie's worst nightmare would be touring the west coast of Ireland in a campervan...sigh! I shall dream...
